I am too exhausted to tell you much other than I have fulfilled the requirements to graduate with my Master of Arts in Child Advocacy & Policy and I have learned a great deal. The short version is — abuse is infinitely complicated and so is recovery. The long version will wait for another day.
I have written a literature review on Clergy Sexual Abuse as a Betrayal Trauma and Institutional Betrayal as an Exacerbator. It may be published in an academic journal. Smarter people than me said it should be. So we will see.
